Download Lineage OS 17 for OnePlus 6 based on Android 10

Lineage OS is an open-source and free operating system which is based on the Android platform. It is the successor to the custom MOD, the CyanogenMod, which shut down its operation in December 2016. However, Cyanogen. Inc retained the rights to the custom MOD and gave a rebranding to it as Lineage OS.

Steps to Install Lineage OS 17 ROM on OnePlus 6 (Enchilada)

Pre-Requirements:

• This is Android 10 based Lineage OS 17 file and supported for OnePlus 6 (Enchilada) only.
• You will require to unlock the device bootloader at first.
• You need TWRP Recovery on OnePlus 6 (Enchilada)
• Download the required TWRP file, LineageOS 17 zip file, and Supported GApps file from below.
• Keep your device battery charged up to 60% at least for a smoother process.

Instructions to Install:

1. First of all, You need to enable the developer option and activate the OEM unlock and USB debugging.
2. Now you need to unlock the bootloader on your OnePlus 6.
3. Once you have unlocked, you must install the latest TWRP Recovery on OnePlus 6.
4. Now the guide will be easy, boot into TWRP Recovery
5. You need to Decrypt and Re-Encrypt Data Partition on OnePlus 6.
6. You can now take a complete backup of your ROM using TWRP Recovery.
7. Now you need Wipe System Data on TWRP Recovery
8. Tap on Install option and look for the downloaded Lineage OS 17 zip file.
9. Swipe to confirm the flashing.
10. Now you need to install the Android Oreo Gapps file. (TWRP -> Install -> Select Gapps zip and swipe to flash)
11. You can now reboot to enjoy Lineage OS 17 on OnePlus 6 (beryllium).
12. If you want to root you can either try SuperSU root or you can try Magisk root.
